The count
Nexus Mods keeps two numbers for every mod. Total downloads counts every file anyone grabs. Unique downloads counts each person once, however many files or updates they take. On October 21 my profile crossed 500 unique downloads: 500 different people.

That’s 495 people across the first three. The TWC Workmaster Cement Mixing Truck went up at six that evening, and its first downloads are what took the profile past 500. Nexus doesn’t show a brand-new mod’s unique count on its first day, so the Workmaster’s share was its first handful of downloads that night.
A big day
October 21 was a release day. Roadmaster 2.0 came out in the morning: the dry vans’ doors swing open, the vans fill up with freight as you load them, and it’s one update each for V3.3, V3.2 and V2.6. The Workmaster came out in the evening, a cement mixer truck that actually mixes, with its how-to video on YouTube. Its first comment came 18 minutes after it went up, asking if I’d already thrown the guy in the picture into the drum.

The day before, the count was 1,000 downloads. This one counts people. To everyone who downloaded, endorsed, commented or told a friend: thank you. More is coming: the Roadmaster Deluxe with its lowboys, the tankers and the flatbeds.
