The release
TWC Quartermaster Tankers 1.0.0 is its own mod, beside the TWC Roadmaster it runs on: three 40’ tankers, each with a job. The gas tanker carries gas cans and fills up your vehicle from its own menu, from the seat or from outside, or tops up every vehicle around it. The water tanker pumps 30,000 liters in from a lake or a river, fills your jars, and pours it out behind it a quarter of the tank at a time. The dry bulk carries the farm and plants it, a seed on every empty farm plot in the sun within 10 meters.
A tanker full of gas
A gas tanker should act like one. Shoot it up and it blows, with the game’s own gas pump blast made far bigger. Taroos, after the first test: “It blew up a whole wall.” To match, it’s the most expensive trailer in the lineup, to craft and to buy.
V2.6 and TWC Roadmaster 2.0.1
The tankers’ jobs live in the TWC Roadmaster’s code, so on V2.6 they needed that code ported to the older game. TWC Roadmaster 2.0.1 is the V2.6 download’s own update, and the V3.3 download stays 2.0.0. On V2.6 the game tags its seeds differently, so the V2.6 dry bulk names every seed it plants.
Tested
On 25 October Taroos tested the V3.3 file on V3.3 and the V2.6 file on our second machine, on V2.6:
- On V3.3: hooked up behind the Roadmaster with livery kits on, every job run, and the gas tanker shot up until it went. His how-to that evening shows the dry bulk planting 25 seeds, a rig filled up from the gas tanker, five vehicles fueled at once, and the water tanker pumping a river and pouring it into the crater the gas tanker left.
- On V2.6: the gas tanker filled up and fueled vehicles and blew up, the water tanker pumped in 30,000 liters and poured it into the crater a quarter at a time, and the livery kits went on. After one fix to the dry bulk’s seed list, it planted 25 seeds.
