What happened
A collection on Nexus Mods is a player’s own list of mods, put together so the mods work as one setup. Anyone can install a whole collection in one go, and every mod on the list comes with it. By October 25 my TWC Procedural Interstate Network was in two of them:
| collection | mods on the list |
|---|---|
| Working | 27 |
| 7Days2Fry7Days2Cry7Days2Lie | 44 |
Why it matters to me
A download means someone wanted to try it. A collection means someone decided it belongs in the setup they hand to other people. The interstate is a 2 GB folder of over 500 tiles, and two players made room for it anyway.
It also means people will get the interstate who never saw my page. Whoever installs one of those lists gets the network built into their worlds.
Where it stands
Five days in, the interstate’s page shows 172 unique downloads, 5 endorsements and 1,393 views. It’s still climbing.
To the two players who put it on their lists: thank you. More detailing is coming, and the bypasses are being rebuilt tile by tile.
