The wheel that never moved (1.3.3)
Taroos: “the steering wheel on the M6 doesn’t turn.” Read out of the built car: the game turns one named part every frame for the steering, and on this car that part was an empty marker 17 cm off the wheel’s own axis. The wheel you see belongs to the body model, and nothing ever moved it. The wheel was measured from its own mesh (a column tilted 22.7 degrees, a rim of 17 cm), the game’s marker now sits on that axis and the wheel hangs from it, so the game turns it like the stock 4x4’s. The driver’s hands, which had floated 10 cm short of the rim, grip it at 9 and 3 and turn with it.
The paint comes home (1.4.0)
The ten Warlock paints were built in July as a separate pack: ten dyes plus four whole extra cars that carried the finishes. Taroos asked for them back, in one mod with the car, and for a Vampire kit like the Roadmaster’s. The car comes in Alpine White. Every paint is now a kit for its dye slot: the game’s own dye system sets the color, and a small patch sets the finish, gloss, gloss metallic, satin metallic or matte. The Vampire kit is the Roadmaster’s crimson on a deep clearcoat, with blood-red calipers.
| Kit | Finish |
|---|---|
| Red Gloss | gloss |
| Red Satin | satin metallic |
| Red Matte | matte |
| Satin Gray | satin metallic |
| Matte Graphite | matte |
| Obsidian Black | gloss metallic |
| Rose Gold | gloss metallic |
| San Marino Blue | gloss metallic |
| Emerald Green | gloss metallic |
| Royal Purple | satin metallic |
| Vampire | deep blood red, blood-red calipers |
Taroos set one rule: never touch the black rims, the kidney grilles, the carbon roof and trim, or the spoiler. The release tool reads the built car and refuses to ship unless the paint material sits on the body paint alone and the caliper material on the four calipers alone, none of it on any of 42 rim, grille, carbon, roof, spoiler, trim, glass or mirror parts. Then the game log confirmed each kit’s color and finish as Taroos put all eleven on.
Every kit in the item menu
In the prefab editor the kits were missing from the item menu, where the game’s own dyes show. Every kit had been marked for the player’s creative mode only, and the editor runs its own. The game’s dyes carry no mark, so they show everywhere. The M6’s eleven kits and the Roadmaster’s six liveries now match them (Roadmaster 1.5.2).
American English
Both packs, their listings and these pages now use American spelling throughout; the release tools fix it as they write and refuse a pack that still carries a British spelling.
Checked
Each change was measured from the built files first. The release tools refused the bad builds planted on purpose, and both packs booted clean before they were locked. Then Taroos: “Look at those colors, bro. … Those colors are sick.” Both vehicles are done for these versions.
