The decision
Reggie, 26 September, right after the Roadmaster rename: “We need the same thing for our M6. TWC M6 Gran Coupe.” The Warlock Commandery prefix is now the same on both vehicles.
What changed
The mod folder (BabyWarlockM6Performance becomes TWC-M6; delete the old one, the two must not load together), the mod name, display name and description, the in-game item name, README, changelog, attribution, listing, download name, the project page and its address, which redirects from the old one.
What deliberately did not change
The entity and item ids, which a saved game stores, so a placed car carries over. The two bundles and the three runtime patches, byte for byte: the audio patch was approved by ear, the steering patch by a live drive and the lamps by four night drives, and none of them carries the retired name. Their log lines keep the [BabyWarlock] tag, which is the workshop’s mark, not a product name. Dated field reports keep their wording; only their project link moved.
How it was checked
The same refusing publish tool as the Roadmaster’s rename: the old pack had to equal its lock byte for byte and the new folder had to be absent; the install copied the pack under the new name, asserted exactly the five declared text files changed, scanned every text file in the new pack for the old name and refused on anything outside the allowed history lines, then parked the old folder; one boot verified the new load line, all three banners, the absence of the old mod and no warning naming the car; the zip was cut only after that receipt matched the live folder.
Owed
Reggie’s drive under the new name, release screenshots for the listing, LOD and damage-state meshes.
