What shipped
WC M6 Gran Coupe v1.0.1 (mod folder BabyWarlockM6Performance): the owner’s own four-door performance coupe with a four-seat cabin, an AWD performance chassis, thirteen engine clips recorded from the owner’s own car, two small Harmony patches (engine audio dynamics, speed-sensitive steering), and paint through the game’s dye system. Verified on V3.2.0 b10. The full zip sha256 sits beside the download.
The name is deliberate. The car is the owner’s, which is how the audio and the proportions got this close, but the pack ships under the Warlock Commandery name, created by Taroos the Warlock, with no manufacturer branding. 1.0.1 is 1.0.0 with that naming applied; the game files are otherwise identical.
The ground moved first
The pack had been proven on V3.1.0 b14. Steam had replaced the game on 31 August. The chassis contract still cited the old assembly hash, so the first job was to decompile the build the game was actually running and read the two code paths the pack depends on. The steering formula was unchanged. The engine rpm simulation had moved to a different update than the audio patch hooks, which made one of its assumptions approximate rather than exact. Both facts went into the record before anything was changed.
Steering
The game scales steering rate by speed and pins the scale at 0.15 from 20 mph up, so a car with 200 deg/s of steering has 30 deg/s at every speed above that, while the full 45 degree lock stays available at 100 mph. Dead, then a snap.
The fix rewrites the one game method that does steering so that, for this vehicle only, the floor is 0.40 and the maximum wheel angle shrinks from 45 degrees at 22 mph to 18 at 78. Every other vehicle reads its stock values. The patch installs only on the exact game build it was proven on and only if it finds both steering reads in the method; otherwise it logs a warning and leaves stock steering. The owner drove it and locked it the same afternoon.
The idle
The owner’s report was that the idle sounded wrong. The first pass found a real defect in the gear string: at rest the game was playing the at-speed engine bed at 42 percent underneath the idle loop, because a pitch-fade gate had been disabled while fixing an earlier problem. The gate was restored and the bed went silent at rest, as designed.
Then the report came back: now there is no idle at all.
That was the finding. The idle loop had never been audible. The clip carried 97 percent of its energy below 100 Hz, because every field-recorder capture of this car at idle had been made at the exhaust, and a 52 Hz fundamental with nothing above it is a hum most speakers cannot reproduce. Measured by loudness it sat 10 dB under the bed. What everyone had been hearing as “the idle” for a month was the bed at 42 percent. The bundle, the loop bookkeeping and the game’s audio manager were all checked and cleared before that conclusion was allowed.
The one stationary recording with the mid harmonics turned out to be a phone capture from 1 August that the source lock had already approved. Four steady seconds of it, 776 rpm, a quarter of the energy between 100 and 300 Hz, no filtering, became the new idle. It renders through the same governed pipeline as the rest of the pack with gates on engine speed, steadiness and mid-band content, so a sub-bass-only window cannot ship again. Every other clip came out byte-identical.
The owner’s second note, that holding top speed sounded like the engine backing off, was a level step: sixth gear never upshifts, and when its one-shot ends the bed is left alone 3.2 dB lower. The bed came up 2.1 dB and the lower gears were compensated in the XML so only sixth changed.
What it took that was not audio
The Unity build refused to run headless until the owner signed back in to Unity Hub; the entitlement had lapsed on 2 September. That is now written down as a check before any headless build.
