What happened
The tractor and trailer pair reached a state worth freezing: both vehicles load and drive, the fifth wheel secures and releases on a four-second native cycle, and the landing gear drops and lifts on its own. The build was approved and locked at v0.2.18 with the word prototype in the milestone name.
What was proven
- Coupling works without a scripted teleport. Tractor and trailer are measured in the same marker frame, so the kingpin lands where the geometry says it should after every rebuild.
- The custom bodies, icons, and identity survive a clean install.
What is still open
The steer axle skipped the tuning loop that the drive axles went through, and it shows as a light front end. The body is a first pass on the Night Sovereign concept. Neither blocks the prototype label, both block a release.
