TWC Quartermaster Tankers

Three 40' tankers for the TWC Roadmaster, and every one has a job: the gas tanker fills up your vehicles, the water tanker pumps a lake and pours it where you want it, and the dry bulk plants your farm. Every TWC Roadmaster livery kit fits. Runs on TWC Roadmaster 2.0.0. For V3.3 and V2.6.

TWC Quartermaster Tankers

Every tanker has a job

The Roadmaster pulls; the Quartermaster carries. These are three tankers for the TWC Roadmaster that do the work their markings say: a gas tanker that fuels your vehicles, a water tanker that moves a lake to where you need it, and a dry bulk that carries your farm and plants it. When Taroos looked, nobody had a working tanker for this game. So he built three.

The gas tanker

A polished aluminum gasoline tanker: an oval tank in four compartments with manholes and rollover rails, hose tubes along the sides and the loading valves on the curb side. Its 24 slots take gas cans only. Pull up within 10 meters and pick Fill up on your vehicle’s menu, from the seat or from outside like a gas pump, or stand by the tanker and pick Fuel nearby vehicles to top up every vehicle around it. A locked tanker serves its owner, the players they let in and their party. It’s a tanker full of gasoline: shoot it up and it blows, hard enough to take out a whole wall, so park it away from your base.

The water tanker

A white tanker with the valves and meter in a cabinet at the back. It holds 30,000 liters of water and no items. Park beside a lake or a river and Pump water in fills it in one go. Pump water out pours a quarter of the tank at a time behind it, into a pit or a pool you back up to, or onto the ground. Fill your jars fills your empty jars from it; the water is murky, so boil it before you drink it. It won’t pour on a trader’s lot or on someone else’s land claim.

The dry bulk

A bare aluminum dry bulk pneumatic riding high over three cone hoppers. Its 96 slots take the farm and nothing else: crops, seeds, and the farm plot’s clay, potassium nitrate, rotting flesh and wood. Park it by your farm and Plant nearby farm plots puts a seed from its load on every empty farm plot within 10 meters that has the sun on it, the nearest first.

The markings and the livery kits

Every tanker wears its job’s markings, so you can tell them apart at a glance: GASOLINE and the red 1203 flammable placards on the gas tanker, NON-POTABLE WATER and the yellow DO NOT DRINK signs on the water tanker, DRY BULK and the numbered hoppers on the dry bulk. They stay on under every livery kit. Every TWC Roadmaster livery kit fits the three of them; the TWC Livery Kit: Commandery paints them the Commandery black with the gold seal, and the TWC Livery Kit: Stock puts any tanker back to its factory look. Both come with TWC Roadmaster.

Tested

Taroos tested 1.0.0 on V3.3 on 25 October: hooked up behind the Roadmaster with livery kits on, every job run, and the gas tanker shot up until it went. His word on the blast: “It blew up a whole wall.” That evening he filmed the how-to on V3.3: the dry bulk planted 25 seeds, a rig filled up from the gas tanker, five vehicles were fueled at once, the tanker was shot up, and the water tanker pumped a river and poured it into the crater the gas tanker left. The same afternoon he tested the V2.6 file on our second machine, on V2.6: the gas tanker filled up and fueled vehicles and blew up, the water tanker pumped in 30,000 liters and poured it into the crater a quarter at a time, and the livery kits went on. After one fix to the dry bulk’s seed list for V2.6, it planted 25 seeds there too.

Crafting

  • The water tanker and the dry bulk: 8 wheels, 2 truck chassis and 1 set of truck accessories each, at the workbench.
  • The gas tanker: 8 wheels, 4 truck chassis and 3 sets of truck accessories, at the workbench. It’s the most expensive trailer in the lineup, to craft and to buy.

Trader Bob sells all three from day one.

Requirements

  • TWC Roadmaster Tractor Trailer Combo 2.0.0 or later, installed beside it: the tankers and their jobs run on its code.
  • Game build: 7 Days to Die V3.3, or V2.6 (b14) with the V2.6 downloads of both mods, the Roadmaster’s at 2.0.1 or later.
  • EAC off. Multiplayer: the server and every player need the same folders.

Known issues

  • The water fills the lowest open space first: pour beside a raised pool and some of it lands on the grass.

TWC Quartermaster Tankers for V2.6 v1.0.0

25 OCT 2026 requires: TWC Roadmaster Tractor Trailer Combo 2.0.1 for V2.6, 7 Days to Die V2.6 b14, 0_TFP_Harmony (ships with the game), EAC off

The same three tankers built for 7 Days to Die V2.6 (b14), the game's v2.6 branch on Steam, jobs and all: Fill up and Fuel nearby vehicles at the gas tanker, the water tanker's pump and jars, the dry bulk's planting, and every livery kit. Install it beside the V2.6 download of TWC Roadmaster 2.0.1 or later: on V2.6 the jobs need 2.0.1. On V3.3, use the main download. 74.8 MB.

Tested by Taroos on V2.6 on 25 October on our second machine: the gas tanker filled up and fueled vehicles and blew up, the water tanker pumped in 30,000 liters and poured it into the crater a quarter at a time, and livery kits went on the tankers. After one fix to the dry bulk's seed list for V2.6, this exact file's dry bulk planted 25 seeds. Its config is also checked against the V2.6 game's own files. sha256 e02c7651da220a6f057a157cdd70c17d3e424295c9c2d88093ffd5ae26c03440, also beside the zip.
