The Warlock Commandery Taroos the Warlock

The Gateway Viaduct drives like a real road

First Warlock carriageway to pass a drive test. A 4x4 crossed the viaduct transition without a bump, and the basin below it holds nearly 24,000 authored water cells the game renders as water.

What happened

Two milestones landed on the same day on the Gateway Viaduct tile.

Smooth carriageway. After the ramp smoothness spec was rewritten to seven blocks of rise over fifty-six of run, a 4x4 was driven across the transition from approach ramp to deck. No launch, no bottom-out, no visible step. It is the first Warlock carriageway that drives like a road rather than a staircase.

Authored water. The basin under the span carries 23,940 hand-written water cells. World generation kept them, and the game renders them as water rather than dropping them.

What was proven

That the tile pipeline can author both the road and the terrain beneath it and have the game honour both. Until this day every attempt at water had been silently discarded during generation.

Next target

Apply the same ramp spec and water method to the river crossing tile, and get it accepted.
