The release
TWC Workmaster 1.0.0 is a new mod, so it starts public at 1.0.0. It’s the first body on the Workmaster chassis: the TWC Roadmaster’s day cab on a long frame. Load the drum with what the game’s Cement Mixer takes, start the mixer from the truck’s menu, and it makes Concrete Mix or Asphalt in the truck’s storage at nine times the game’s own speed, while you drive.
Tested
Taroos drove it on V3.3 in single player and on our own dedicated server with a second machine joined. His last test before the lock was two reloads with concrete and asphalt mixing, and Trader Bob selling it from day one: “It’s all good. Verified 3.3 is good to go.” The V3.3 file is that tested code with the version number changed, checked byte for byte.
On V2.6 his first look found a bug: a mixer loading from the save forgot what it was allowed to mix, so it neither mixed nor refused anything. The V2.6 game asks the truck for its rules before the truck is fully built. The fix went into the V2.6 file, and on the final build he mixed concrete and asphalt across three loads from the save, with the wrong items refused: “I did damn near the full test again for you.”
Out the door
Taroos posted it the same evening on Nexus Mods and on 7daystodiemods, with a minute-and-a-half video of it mixing on YouTube. His own screenshot is the thumbnail. We downloaded both files back from 7daystodiemods, and each one matched the file we locked, byte for byte. On Nexus Mods, each file’s contents list matches its zip.
