TWC Quartermaster Flatbeds

Move your base without emptying a single box: a 53' and a 40' flatbed for the TWC Roadmaster, each with its own conex that packs your storage crates whole, one at a time or every crate around it at once, and a log trailer whose logs show as you load it. Every TWC Roadmaster livery kit fits. Runs on TWC Roadmaster 2.1.0. For V3.3 and V2.6.

TWC Quartermaster Flatbeds

Move your base without emptying a single box

The Roadmaster pulls; the Quartermaster carries. This pack is three trailers for the TWC Roadmaster: a 53’ and a 40’ flatbed that each come with their own conex, and a log trailer. The conex is the point. Pack your storage crates into it whole, with their items, labels and locks, haul it to the new base, and set them back out just as they were packed. No emptying boxes, no hauling by the backpack load.

The flatbeds and their conex

The basic US flatbed in red: a hardwood deck between steel side rails with stake pockets, winches with straps under the rails, a toolbox and an air tank. The 53’ comes with a 40’ conex that holds 44 storage crates, the 40’ with a 20’ conex that holds 20. On the deck the conex rides strapped down with yellow ratchet straps.

  • Set it down: park the flatbed, hold E on it and pick Set conex down. A green or red preview shows where it goes.
  • Pack a crate: hold E on a wooden, iron or steel storage crate near the conex and pick Pack into conex. The crate goes in whole.
  • Pack all nearby crates: on the same menu, every crate within about 10 meters of the conex goes in at once, the nearest first, until it’s full. A locked crate the player can’t open stays out.
  • Unpack: Unpack a crate sets one where the player aims, and Unpack all crates sets them all out in stacks. A locked crate comes out only for its owner and the players it allows.
  • Load it back on: with its empty flatbed parked nearby, Load onto flatbed on the conex.

The conex is the flatbed’s storage; the flatbeds have none of their own.

The conex is yours

On a server, a conex belongs to whoever owns its flatbed. Only the owner, their allies and the players they give the flatbed’s password can set it down, load it, or pack and unpack crates. Anyone can open its doors and look. The rule lives in TWC Roadmaster 2.1.0, which these trailers run on.

The log trailer

A 53’ log trailer in logger red, built after real US log semis: a straight steel frame with a deep belly, seven bunks with a tapered stake at each end and a grid headboard behind the cab. Its 24 slots take wood and wood bundles, nothing else, and the logs show on the bunks as it’s loaded, in the game’s own pine bark: the first log as soon as any wood is on, then a quarter, half, three quarters and a full load at 18,000 wood (a wood bundle counts as 6,000). The load is solid, and everyone on a server sees the same load.

The livery kits

Every TWC Roadmaster livery kit fits the three trailers. The TWC Livery Kit: Commandery paints them the Commandery black with the gold seal and lettering, the Roadmaster’s own look; it comes with TWC Roadmaster.

Tested

Taroos tested 1.0.0 on 29 October. In single player both flatbeds spawned with their conex. Then on our own dedicated server, with a second machine joined: while the two players weren’t allies, the other player could only open the conex doors; once they were allies, each set down, packed, unpacked and loaded the other’s conex, with Pack all nearby crates and Unpack all crates. After a server restart every conex kept its owner, and the locked crates stayed where they were. The same day he tested the V2.6 file on our second machine, on V2.6: Pack all nearby crates filled the 40’ conex to 44 of 44, Unpack all crates set them out, and the conex went back on its flatbed with its crates, across three sessions of one game, the crates coming back with their items. That afternoon he filmed the how-to.

Crafting

  • The log trailer and the 53’ flatbed: 8 wheels, 3 truck chassis and 1 set of truck accessories each, at the workbench.
  • The 40’ flatbed: 8 wheels, 2 truck chassis and 1 set of truck accessories, at the workbench.

Trader Bob sells them from day one. For hauling vehicles, the step deck, lowboy and recovery lowboy come with TWC Roadmaster Deluxe.

Requirements

  • TWC Roadmaster Tractor Trailer Combo 2.1.0 or later, installed beside it: the log trailer’s load and the conex run on its code.
  • Game build: 7 Days to Die V3.3 or newer, or V2.6 (b14) with the V2.6 downloads of both mods.
  • EAC off. Multiplayer: the server and every player need the same folders.

Known issues

  • None known. Reports go in the posts on the mod’s pages.

TWC Quartermaster Flatbeds for V2.6 v1.0.0

29 OCT 2026 requires: TWC Roadmaster Tractor Trailer Combo 2.1.0 for V2.6, 7 Days to Die V2.6 b14, 0_TFP_Harmony (ships with the game), EAC off

The same log trailer and conex flatbeds built for 7 Days to Die V2.6 (b14), the game's v2.6 branch on Steam, the conex and all: set it down, pack and unpack your crates one at a time or all at once, load it back on, and the log trailer's load. Install it beside the V2.6 download of TWC Roadmaster 2.1.0 or later: on V2.6 the conex needs 2.1.0. On V3.3, use the main download. 70.3 MB.

Tested by Taroos on V2.6 on 29 October on our second machine, this exact file: both flatbeds and their conex, set down, Pack all nearby crates to a full conex, unpacked one and all, loaded back on with its crates, across three sessions of one game; the crates came back with their items. Its config is also checked against the V2.6 game's own files. sha256 ad633059987d800b7e1fc7f2991898519bcdfa90118a3f507f713828f6d5a1e9, also beside the zip.

TWC Quartermaster Flatbeds v1.0.0

29 OCT 2026 requires: TWC Roadmaster Tractor Trailer Combo 2.1.0 or later, 7 Days to Die V3.3 or newer, 0_TFP_Harmony (ships with the game), EAC off

Two conex flatbeds and a log trailer for the TWC Roadmaster. The 53' flatbed carries a 40' conex for 44 of your storage crates and the 40' a 20' conex for 20: set it down where you aim, pack your crates in whole, one at a time or every crate around it at once, haul your base, unpack them one at a time or all at once, and load it back on. On a server the conex is its owner's. The log trailer takes wood only and the logs show as you fill it. Every TWC Roadmaster livery kit fits. Runs on TWC Roadmaster 2.1.0, which you install beside it. For V3.3; on V2.6, use the download below. 70.3 MB.

1.0.0: the first public release. Tested by Taroos on 29 October in single player and on our own dedicated server with a second machine joined: both flatbeds and their conex, set down, packed (one at a time and Pack all nearby crates), unpacked (one and all) and loaded back on; on the server a conex let another player open only its doors until they were allies, every conex kept its owner through a server restart, and a locked crate stayed where it was. His how-to that afternoon shows all of it, and the log trailer with a full load. sha256 e0a19eb496aaaaa6b3d3fb9441c31c7580bdee0a8ff2b1e82045aef7165b1ad5, also beside the zip.
